For those less attracted to sleeping under the stars in our luxury wooden Roundhouses, we have four cosy cottages to cater for your needs. Decorated in calming, natural coastal colours, the cottages provide the perfect conventional cosy offering to lay the ‘noggin’ at East Thorne.

Furnished with charming items and homely touches whilst being practically equipped, our cottages are cosy, comfortable and convenient. Each cottage sleeps up to four guests with one double room, one twin room and comfortable enough room for occasional beds for another two guests (children). Downstairs you’ll find a comfy lounge, well equipped kitchen and dining area. Upstairs are our restful bedrooms and newly refurbished double shower bathrooms. Outside is a courtyard and BBQ area with tables and chairs. You will have access to all the outdoor amenities on site, like the communal camp fire; clay oven and children’s climbing frame, as well as plenty of car free lawn and gravel paths for scooters. You can also enjoy all that Cornwall and its surrounding areas have to offer with Bude being just 5 miles away. Whether you’re looking for fine dining, character pubs or energetic activities and experiences, we can advise you on all there is to enjoy and help make your stay a memorable one.
If you want a remote retreat, you really can hide away here at ‘Nook’ and ‘Cranny’. Named in the spirit of the cottages: cosy, sheltered and concealed from the everyday hustle and bustle of life, Nook and Cranny are two of our four cosy cottages.

With all the homely touches of all our cottages, Nook and Cranny are particularly perfect to cosy up in after a windy dog walk on the beach. They have cosy log burning stoves to warm the soul and a funky industrial chic vibe.
These cottages can be enjoyed by any guest, but we are really pleased that our dog-loving visitors can bring along their extended family too! Anyone staying in our cosy cottages will enjoy a more conventional stay but with the added benefit of all the outside treats. Maybe tie in a stay with some friends in a roundhouse so everyone gets the best of both worlds.
Named with a nod to our family and Welsh heritage in mind, Nobby’s and The Cwtch are close to our hearts and are decorated and decked out with all the love and care they deserve.
Nobby’s and Cwtch (Welsh for hug) have rich oak wooden floors for that totally cosy, warm and welcoming feel. They are adorned in calming coastal colours and homely hints of our beautiful local beaches. We really wanted to make sure the cottage’s interiors perfectly complement our surroundings and form the perfect conventional compliment to our offering at East Thorne.
