⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolute perfection! Staff are very welcoming and friendly. We stayed in the couples cynefin roundhouse and had the most incredible, relaxing time. The roundhouse is tucked away in its own hidden corner it was beautifully designed, immaculate, and incredibly cozy, offering the perfect blend of luxury and nature. Sitting under the stars in the private hot tub was the ultimate highlight. The peaceful atmosphere and thoughtful details made our trip perfect. We will definitely be back

This was our third visit to East Thorne and also our third time in "The Nook". As usual we had a fantastic stay, Sue was super welcoming as usual. The welcome pack was a lovely touch. We had a look at the Yurts as a possibility for a next visit. We have dogs and they are more than accommodating. If anyone asked me if I would recommend East Thorne, my answer would be 100% yes. If walking holidays are your thing East Thorne would make an ideal base.

 Verified Wonderful Place
We stayed at East Thorne Glamping in Bude, Cornwall, for two nights from 26th July, and had an absolutely wonderful experience. Paul and Sue, who looked after the glamping site, were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. They really made us feel at home. The whole place is beautiful, and the Roundhouse we stayed in was beyond fantastic—comfortable, unique, and very well maintained. We especially loved the jacuzzi, which was spotless and clearly very well cared for. The grounds are stunning and so well looked after, making the whole experience feel peaceful and relaxing. The animals were also a lovely part of our stay, and it was clear how much care and attention Paul gives them. We had such a lovely time and would highly recommend East Thorne Glamping to anyone looking for a special getaway in Cornwall. We would definitely love to return. Mr & Mrs Stone & Lewis

 Verified Fabulous birthday weekend with friends
We rented all four family roundhouses at East Thorne for a long weekend to celebrate a friend's birthday. Each couple stayed in one roundhouse, which gave everyone their own comfortable space while still allowing us to spend plenty of time together as a group. We used the bunk room to store our clothes and to change in. Each roundhouse has a bathroom with a loo, sink and shower, a hot tub, garden table and umbrella, and a BBQ. This was my third visit, but it was the first time for the rest of the group, and everyone was impressed by the space, cleanliness and comfort of the accommodation. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, making for a great night's sleep. We made full use of the hot tubs, even popping between each other's roundhouses for a soak and a chat. Naomi was a wonderful host and kindly allowed us to use the loft for a curry night on our first evening and the covered barn for a barbecue on the second. We cooked everything ourselves and carried it over to the barn, which worked perfectly. We also spent time gathered around the fire pit, chatting well into the evening. Mornings were slow, drinking coffee outside, watching the goats on the trampoline! The nearby beaches were lovely, and we rounded off the weekend with an excellent Sunday roast at The Bush Inn. A fantastic stay all round, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others.

The animals; hot tub and morning pastries were the highlights.  We loved the chickens at the door and it felt really homely there.  Paul and Sue were lovely and easy to talk to - really helpful.  Very clean, I’ve stayed in a few places and it is lovely when you find a place with the same cleanliness standards as yourself.  I’d love to come down when the pizza oven is going and it’s a bit warmer too.  Hopefully we will be back soon, thank you so much x

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We’ve just returned from a 3 night stay in the pet friendly ‘Boat’ roundhouse. The accommodation was immaculately presented, clean, tastefully decorated and cosy. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you need for a short break, and even stocked with tea, coffee and sugar. The weather was too cold for a bbq this time but the option was there to have some al fresco dining in our own little garden area if we wanted to. We made good use of the hot tub which was lovely and warm and super clean.

The location is ideal for countryside walks and just a 12 minute drive from Bude centre and a mile from the local village shops and pubs. There is a particularly picturesque walk around Tamar lake which is a 5 minute drive away.

Naomi was extremely welcoming and even took time to show us around the other accommodation options for our next stay. Nothing seemed too much trouble and we knew they were on hand if we needed anything. From the lovely grounds and thoughtful touches, you can tell there has been a lot of love and hard work poured into this business. We loved our stay and look forward to retuning.

Really great area, just a couple minutes drive to Kilkhampton, or short walk, not long drive at all to Bude either. Such a lovely accommodation in the roundhouses, great for cooking in their with great selection given cooking utensils too. Eggs sold on site from the chickens, which gave us a great breakfast. Staff were really friendly to myself partner and myself. Warm luxurious hot tubs too! Lovely and accommodating with our dog too in their pet friendly roundhouse. We’d love to come again!

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We stayed in the secret roundhouse, which is fenced off for privacy, with a separate well equipped kitchen area and covered bbq, woodfired hot tub, firepit, outdoor seating and garden area.
The roundhouse has underfloor heating which was much needed in November and also made it very cosy.
We had a very peaceful and relaxing 4 night break.
East thorne is very much worth a visit and highly recommended.

We stayed in the private roundhouse & the views are beautiful from the outside area, hot tub and fire pit make the evenings so homey and cosy, the roundhouse itself was so clean, incredibly designed, the interior is absolutely stunning, equipped with everything you could need. The hosts are so lovely and extremely welcoming showed us to our roundhouse and were more than happy to answer any questions and made our stay absolutely perfect, already wanna go back will be staying again in the future, couldn’t recommend it enough!!!
